The No-Fail Recipe My Kids Will Always Eat

I have found the perfect recipe that will satisfy all of the picky eaters in your house. This is the no-fail one-pot recipe that my kids will always eat!
I have found the perfect recipe that my super picky kids will always eat–and even ask for seconds!

This is so thrilling to me because it’s an actual recipe you guys; nothing from a box or the freezer–or something simple like scrambled eggs, grilled cheese, or french toast. But an actual recipe with ingredients!  You see, my kids like to torture me at meal time by hating what’s on their plate before even tasting it. Ugh!  And because I am not a short order cook, they only get one choice for dinner and so that means that meal time often ends in the beep of a timer followed by a consequence.

So a while back I came across this awesome recipe on Facebook and it looked so good just based off the pictures I assumed my kids would despise it–ya know, since it looks amazingly delicious!

One Pan Taco Mac & Cheese!
How could you go wrong!?

So I followed the directions almost exactly as the recipe stated–except I didn’t have any green onions on hand so I just skipped those.

I put a very stingy amount on three little plastic plates and sat them down in front of my children–my hopes were pretty low, so I was preparing for a fight–but almost immediately they scarfed down their portion and they all asked for seconds!  They loved it.

Not only did they enjoy it, but my husband and I did too.  The flavor is so unique, and unlike any other recipe I have ever cooked.  My husband likes it with sour cream and salsa.

I have made this meal one other time and got the same reaction.  Oh and the second time I didn’t have fresh tomato on hand, so I used a can of petite cut tomatoes and it tasted just as good.

If you have picky eaters in your house like I do, I definitely recommend this recipe!

Just browsing on instagram and love your site actually I love your passion and relationship with the Lord. Honesty about our daily events and how we deal with our flesh and frustration is so important to share and express how we stand on the rock of our faith is so refreshing to hear you speak the truth and give glory to God at the same time. Loved you site shared it with my 30 year old daughter.
